Demonstration site waste water treatment technology Leeuwarden

The demonstration site for innovative and sustainable technologies for treatment of waste water was officially opened on April 1, 2011. The site is located at the municipal waste ater treatment plant in Leeuwardne. This demosite is an initiative of Water Board Fryslân (Wetterskip Fryslân) and Wetsus. Also fior this site, the plug and play principle is applicable. Several water and sludge streams typical for sewerage treatment are available for testing.
