From Monday 6th until Wednesday 8th of June 2011, the 3rd International Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) conference will be held in City Theatre “De Harmonie” in Leeuwarden. The conference is organized by Wetsus, Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology, and the Sub-department of Environmental Technology of Wageningen University.

After successful conferences in the US (Penn State University) and South-Korea (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology), this will be the first international MFC conference in Europe. Researchers (±300) from all over the world will exchange results and ideas about MFCs and related research topics.

There are 3 options to sponsor the 3rd Microbial Fuel Cell conference (prices excl. VAT):

1. Placement of your company’s logo on a common banner in the main auditorium: 500 euro
2. A goody (delivered by your company to us) inserted into the conference bags: 300 euro
3. A stand on the exhibition floor (see below): 1000 euro

Options 1 and 2 do not include a conference admission.

Exhibition floor

During this conference, there will be a demonstration area where companies, that are involved in MFC research, can present their innovative products and technologies to the conference audience. We expect many visitors from universities, knowledge institutes and companies. The reception, coffee breaks, lunch breaks and drinks will all take place in the demo area. Therefore, this is an ideal spot to present your company to the conference audience.

• 3x1 meter stand. The stand consists of a screen with 2 lights. It is of course also possible to bring your own stand
• Table and 2 chairs
• Power connection and if required, internet connection
• 1 free ticket for entrance to the Conference

The stand preferably contains some physical objects, such as a small model or demo (not only flyers etc).

The construction of large stands will take place on Sunday 5th of June in the afternoon. On Wednesday 8th of June, the demo stands must be removed again in the afternoon. If construction of the demo stand does not take too much time, it is also possible to do this on Monday 6th of June before 9.00 in the morning.
