Graduation & internships

At Wetsus we have a number of internship positions available every month for MSc and BSc students. The content for an internship at Wetsus is depending on your study discipline (chemistry, physics, microbiology, etc.). During an internship at Wetsus the student works with and assists a PhD student on his/her project. An internship at Wetsus has many advantages, such as:

· Excellent career possibilities after graduation through the extensive network of businesses
  and academic institutions associated with Wetsus
· Developing a great insight in working at an institute on sustainable water technology
· Working in a multidisciplinary environment
· Get acquainted to Leeuwarden as the European Capital of water technology

Besides a proper background for the internship project, another condition to qualify for an internship at Wetsus is the fact that students must be enrolled at a Dutch or European university. For Non-EU students a registration at a Dutch university is necessary to be able to get a residence permit for study purposes and perform an internship within the Netherlands. Only when you meet these qualifications we can accept you as an intern at Wetsus.

Please notice that you and your university need to sign the internship agreement from Wetsus. Wetsus needs this agreement signed by all parties back before starting your internship! Without a signed agreement you cannot start your internship at Wetsus.
