This unique program addresses internationally oriented and talented business people who wish to develop their activities in the global water industry, learn about current and future trends in water technology and management and expand their network worldwide. The Executive MBA is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2011 over a period of approximately 2 years, with a format of one-week intensive modules to take place in the Netherlands (both in Leeuwarden and in Rotterdam) and in other locations around the world that are known to have major water challenges. NLT-teaching material Blue Energy officially certified
In January 2010 the NLT-teaching module on Blue Energy was certified. This education material will be nationally implemented within the beta course Nature, life and Technology (NLT), which started in 2007 at 200 secondary schools. The Blue Energy package is developed in cooperation with secondary schools, universities and Wetsus. With this package the students get to learn what Blue Energy is, which technological processes are used and how it might be implemented in the future. Hopefully this will inspire them to choose a technological career.

The national development centre for NL&T reviewed the material on theoretical content and educational level. Teachers and students tested the material on feasibility and attractiveness. The results showed that teachers and especially the students are very enthousiastic. In particularly the Blue Energy toolkit, which is optionally available for schools, is very appealing for the students. With this toolkit they can build their own setup which can be used for experiments and it gives more information about the principal of this technology.

In the coming weeks the lay-out of the material will be updated and after this it can be downloaded from the website:
