100th scientific publication!

Recently the 100th peer reviewed publication of a Wetsus researcher was published. Dr. Elmar Fuchs reported his results on the heavy waterbridge in the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics 2010, 43: 105502-105507. Wetsus congratulates Elmar with this milestone!

New Theme: Prioritary pollutants

In this new Wetsus theme, the participants are looking for new technological solutions to remove prioritary pollutants like e.g. medicines, herbicides, cosmetics that may be present in ground- and surface water. The launch of the new theme was on August 30.
The first companies to sign up were two drinking water companies: PWN and Oasen, and Trojan, leading developer of water treatment solutions using environmentally friendly ultraviolet light. Domenico Santoro of Trojan will be the theme manager of this exciting new theme.
