The 8th International Conference on Interfaces against Pollution (IAP) to be held in Leeuwarden (2014), lies within the framework of a series of conferences initiated in Wageningen (The Netherlands, 1997), and followed by Miskolc (Hungary, 2002), Jülich (Germany, 2004), Granada (Spain, 2006), Kyoto (Japan, 2008), Beijing (China, 2010) and Nancy (France, 2012).
The aim of the international conference IAP is to provide an international meeting platform for scientists working on colloid and surface science and/or heterogeneous catalysis in relation to the natural environment and environmental protection. The scope of the conference ranges from fundamentals to applications, but focuses on scientific fundamentals.
