Gonçalo started his doctoral studies at Wetsus in collaboration with Utrecht University, in 2016, as part of the first WaterSEED challenge.
His research focuses on the spread of antimicrobial resistance in farmlands, in particular in effect of manure application to soils and adjacent surface waters.
