Biography

My research primarily focuses on the inspection of water distribution pipelines made of PVC (PolyVinyl Chloride) using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing. The idea is to determine the level of degradation in PVC water pipelines using this technique such that, they can be rehabilitated or replaced before they fail. This will prevent water companies from incurring large costs due to leakages and bursts of pipelines.
