PhD Researcher
My research focuses on the biological oxidation of manganese and its further application in biofilters as a common practice to remove soluble manganese, which causes irreversible fouling in many engineered systems such as reverse osmosis. It is a multidisciplinary research involving microbiology, chemistry, and modeling.
