Girls’day!

On April 15, it was national Girls’day! On this day, girls from secondary schools visit tech-companies all over the country.  Together with WaterCampus partner CEW, Wetsus organizes this event every year. This year it was an online visit for a group of girls of CSG Liudger in Drachten. In the lab of Wetsus an experiment was conducted, followed by a talkshow, in which three women working at WaterCampus talked about their work and education. Veerle Levering, Wetsus Academy student, Janneke Dickhout, Wetsus alumna, professor at Van Hall Larenstein and researcher for CEW and Sabine Stuiver, founder of the award winning company Hydraloop were joining this part.

Together with the Wetsus and CEW talent colleagues they hope to inspire girls to play a role in the research and implementation of water technology!
