My research interests are towards physics of matter, nanoscience and projects with impact on the environment and health. My PhD project focuses on phosphate recovery through adsorption using iron oxides, using Mössbauer spectroscopy as an investigation tool. The research looks mainly at the fundamentals of the process, characterizing and monitoring the changes of the adsorbent throughout the whole process and investigating how adsorbent structure manipulation can impact its performances.
