TiO₂ membranes allow for photocatalytic degradation during the radical filtration of micropollutants in a single-step system. Researchers have described the fabrication of photocatalytic membranes with different TiO₂ top layer thicknesses and have modeled the effect of the changes in the membrane thickness in the photocatalytic degradation of micropollutants.
