Langjarige financiering van Wetsus door het Rijk/Dutch government provides long term financing to Wetsus

Vandaag hebben ministers Adriaansens (EZK) en Dijkgraaf (OCW) bekend gemaakt dat de Rijksoverheid de komende tien jaar gaat bijdragen aan de financiering van Wetsus. De financiële ondersteuning komt vanuit het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschappen. In combinatie met de al bestaande toezeggingen vanuit het bedrijfsleven, universiteiten en de regionale overheden is zo een sterke financiële basis ontstaan voor de langjarige toekomst van Wetsus. Vanuit dit fundament is Wetsus in staat aanvullende middelen voor haar programma aan te trekken vanuit o.a. het nationaal groeifonds, de EU en NWO.

Wetsus is trots op de erkenning die spreekt vanuit de toezegging door het Rijk en erg blij dat haar innovatieprogramma krachtig kan worden voortgezet. Wetsus is het Rijk en de regionale overheden zeer erkentelijk voor de kans die aan Wetsus en haar partners geboden voor de uitvoering van de missie voor duurzame watertechnologie.

Dutch government provides long term financing to Wetsus

Today, the Dutch Ministries of Economic Affairs and Science have announced to support Wetsus for the coming 10 years. The funding will be provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The combination of these new funds with the existing promises of the companies and universities connected to Wetsus and those of regional governments, provide a healthy financial basis for Wetsus’ long-term future. From this foundation, Wetsus is well positioned to allocate additional means for its program from EU and national funds.

Wetsus is proud on the recognition connected to the new funding, and happy that its innovation program can continue strongly for the years to come. Wetsus is grateful to all governments for providing the opportunity to Wetsus and its partners to execute the mission for sustainable water technology.
