Water pollution and climate change are putting increasing pressure on the current way of water supply and water use. More and more initiatives are aimed at water recovery and reuse. In this session we highlight a number of initiatives, including the reuse of rainwater for agriculture and industry, and the production of drinking water from wastewater. We discuss technological, economic and social challenges.
